Customers praised the try-on kit as a "great way to decide what frames are best" and appreciated the opportunity to test styles at leisure. Many found it helped them choose with confidence. Some concerns included high shipping costs, clear demo lenses making sunglasses hard to evaluate, and lens reflections in the samples.

Great way to get a perfect fit!

What a great idea for helping customers find their perfect fit before they commit! I was able to try different styles at my leisure. When I chose one style, I was able to wear the frames for a long time with and without my headset. I was 100% confident that I chose the best pair for me before I placed my order. So far, I have not been disappointed!!

Nice but…not what I needed.

This is a good idea, but it isn’t perfect. I think the cost of shipping is high in my opinion. I have a prescription and wanted to try different frames. I mostly wanted sunglasses, but they only send them with clear lenses. Trying on sunglasses with clear lenses to see what fits well and looks good on you is impossible when they have clear lenses. I took selfies and then used Photoshop to edit the pictures so I could see what I look like with tinted lenses. The frames felt light and cheap. Maybe they are sized like the real thing, but felt cheap. I recommend they send them with snap in generic tint lenses of your choice. That would have gotten the kit as least four stars. The cost of RX lenses (just single adjustment for my astigmatism) are very expensive. I expected another $200 for mine (non polarized), but the cost of $450 was a deal breaker for me. I regret getting the try-on kit in my case.

Underwhelmed and bummed in this product

Spent a small chunk of money (after shipping costs which should be included in my opinion since they don’t have many stores) on the try-on kit with plans of a future purchase, but after wearing them for a few days, I will not be buying any of them because I was pretty disappointed with the product.

The biggest issue I had was the amount of reflection hitting the INSIDE of the lenses. I don’t know if this is because maybe the try-on kit comes with a cheap lens? It felt like I had mirrors on the outsides of the lenses. I could see my cheeks, ears, and anything behind me and it was incredibly distracting. The only pair that didn’t do this was the Golden Eagle, but I won’t be buying them because they look like safety glasses.

Other issue was when I put the magnetic tinted lenses on the frames, they would fall off of my face when I looked down. Each pair of glasses was incredibly lightweight (I couldn’t believe it). When the weight of the tinted lenses was added to the front, they constantly wanted to slip down my nose or fall off of my face.

I did like how thin they were! Wore them with a headset and then under a helmet to test them out. They were great for that. I do question durability and longevity, but I’ll never know the answer.

It’s too bad, and I’m really bummed. I thought these were a great solution, but in the end, I lost a small chunk of money that will be sitting as a store credit that I’ll never use.
