Spent a small chunk of money (after shipping costs which should be included in my opinion since they don’t have many stores) on the try-on kit with plans of a future purchase, but after wearing them for a few days, I will not be buying any of them because I was pretty disappointed with the product.
The biggest issue I had was the amount of reflection hitting the INSIDE of the lenses. I don’t know if this is because maybe the try-on kit comes with a cheap lens? It felt like I had mirrors on the outsides of the lenses. I could see my cheeks, ears, and anything behind me and it was incredibly distracting. The only pair that didn’t do this was the Golden Eagle, but I won’t be buying them because they look like safety glasses.
Other issue was when I put the magnetic tinted lenses on the frames, they would fall off of my face when I looked down. Each pair of glasses was incredibly lightweight (I couldn’t believe it). When the weight of the tinted lenses was added to the front, they constantly wanted to slip down my nose or fall off of my face.
I did like how thin they were! Wore them with a headset and then under a helmet to test them out. They were great for that. I do question durability and longevity, but I’ll never know the answer.
It’s too bad, and I’m really bummed. I thought these were a great solution, but in the end, I lost a small chunk of money that will be sitting as a store credit that I’ll never use.
