Best glasses I’ve owned. Durable and great looking.

As an active airline pilot I have flown for years with ray bans and have always had issues with headset sealing but let me tell you about these bad boys. Not only are the the most comfortable thing I’ve ever worn with a headset, they’re comfortable with the ship headsets too. No seal interference and no excess noise intrusion. The lens's quality is amazing and provides excellent glare reduction at all altitudes and even when in direct sun. I would hands down recommend these to any pilot, anytime, anywhere. On the side I also am a mechanic and let me tell you that even with as flexible as the frames are they always stay right where you put them and never slip or fall.
Picked up a pair of flying eyes sunglasses at Oshkosh this year. They are the best I’ve owned. I’m a big fan of Randolph aviators, but my new tortoise Kingfishers with gradient copper lenses outperform the Randolphs in several key ways. First, with the thin temples they are more comfortable under a headset. Second, the optics are noticibly better (I did an A vs B comparison on a sunny flight yesterday). I’m seriously considering a pair of prescription glasses for my backups to wearing contacts.
Very satisfied with my purchase.
Loss Protection
To help with that first issue, we decided to offer the option to purchase Loss Protection with any Non-Rx pair of Flying Eyes purchased directly from us or from our partnered retail locations!
Forgot to order with your original purchase?
This is available for any new (non-Rx) pair you've purchased in the last 30 days that you are still in possession of, either directly from us or from one of our Partnered Retailers. Pairs that have already been lost cannot be claimed under this Loss Protection Insurance retroactively. For those purchased through our partnered retailers, we'll need your proof of purchase from within the last 30 days. You will receive an email requesting this information after you place your order. Failure to respond to that email with your proof of purchase may result in a denial of this coverage, so please let us know if you do not receive it.
If you purchased from us at an event and do not have a receipt, we may need assistance matching your orders if the name on this order is not attached to your payment method.
*This coverage is not available for second-hand pairs purchased from private sellers or for prescription lenses. If loss protection is purchased for a prescription pair, this protection only covers the frame replacement.
You may only replace the lost pair with the exact same pair that was initially ordered.
You may only claim a Loss once per pair, so be sure you get protection for each pair you'd like to cover.
If you'd like to submit a Loss claim, please email us your order confirmation of this insurance (you will receive this email after purchase) or use the form on THIS page.
