Wonderful! So comfortable during flight! Best sunglasses I ever had!
I Fly the Airbus. A few of them very old, w/ faded CRT’s. I bought the Gradient lenses specifically for this. Perfect choice and works phenomenally.
I wanted to start with the good. Things I’m less than enamored with are:
The Nosepiece. Even if it were the most durable, and comfortable part of the shades, it looks flimsy and cheap. Anything integrated into the frame would have been a better choice in my opinion.
The Earpieces. The design is to slide under all the noise canceling headsets out there. I assume it does that job well. I can’t wear these shades anywhere but the flight deck for fear that they will fall off. The earpieces are incredibly flimsy, to perform the above job. I don’t own “clamps” so this feature doesn’t benefit me.
Expensive. This is the price I pay for shades that I want to wear everyday, everywhere and I cannot do that.
I’m not angry or regretful about this purchase. Flying Eyes has many options that might be right for you. I’m happy I supported them.
Excellent. Especially fitting under the earpieces on a headset

Loss Protection
To help with that first issue, we decided to offer the option to purchase Loss Protection with any Non-Rx pair of Flying Eyes purchased directly from us or from our partnered retail locations!
Forgot to order with your original purchase?
This is available for any new (non-Rx) pair you've purchased in the last 30 days that you are still in possession of, either directly from us or from one of our Partnered Retailers. Pairs that have already been lost cannot be claimed under this Loss Protection Insurance retroactively. For those purchased through our partnered retailers, we'll need your proof of purchase from within the last 30 days. You will receive an email requesting this information after you place your order. Failure to respond to that email with your proof of purchase may result in a denial of this coverage, so please let us know if you do not receive it.
If you purchased from us at an event and do not have a receipt, we may need assistance matching your orders if the name on this order is not attached to your payment method.
*This coverage is not available for second-hand pairs purchased from private sellers or for prescription lenses. If loss protection is purchased for a prescription pair, this protection only covers the frame replacement.
You may only replace the lost pair with the exact same pair that was initially ordered.
You may only claim a Loss once per pair, so be sure you get protection for each pair you'd like to cover.
If you'd like to submit a Loss claim, please email us your order confirmation of this insurance (you will receive this email after purchase) or use the form on THIS page.
